Bultaco Pursang Mk. 4

Purchased this project bike from fellow Floridian Bultaco enthusiast, Dave Najarian who, coincidentally, is now the custodian of my Metisse. It's whole and complete, though in Dave's words "it needs everything". I pulled out the motor for my friend Chris to check out, but other than that, it will sit and wait for a few months until I have the time and space to address it fully.

Finally, after two years, the Pursang is finished. It was a very challenging restoration, requiring more effort and money than I had anticipated. It did, however, turn out very well. I hope to show it early in 2025 at the Two-Stroke Show in Fort Myers. In the meantime, here are a couple of progress photos and the completed motorcycle.

January 2025 update: Shortly after posting photos of the completed bike on the Vintage Bultaco page of Facebook, I was approached by a Midwestern collector interested in buying it. After a brief conversation a deal was reached and the bike was sold. It will join a collection of over fifty other motorcycles. A happy conclusion to the project knowing another piece of Bultaco history had been saved and will be well cared for.
